Jodi Williamson of Denton TX offers an eclectic array of wares including English Victoriana, 19th Century Chinese Export porcelain, Black Forest wood carvings, Royal Doulton Character jugs and Art Deco. With a a great eye for the unique and interesting, you’ll always find a special treasure in her case.
Growing up in Tucson Az, Jodi learned about art and antiques by frequenting shows, galleries and fairs with her parents. She started her first collection at the age of eight, with a single EAPG salt cellar in the “Zipper” pattern — one that belonged to her Great Grandmother. This small piece served as the starting point for a lifetime collection (and still growing!) of more than 1,000 open salts.
Collecting antiques was mostly a hobby for Jodi during her long and successful career as VP, Marketing at Epsilon. Following her retirement in 2011, she achieved certification as a Personal Property Appraiser through CAGA (Certified Appraisers Guild of America), and started Jodi’s Attic - conducting in home estate liquidation services.
Today, Jodi travels to England frequently with several other Snider Plaza dealers (Judy Tollefson, Judy Skeen and Julie Redmond), where she replenishes her shop inventory and continues to hone her knowledge of antiques.
As an appraiser, Jodi evaluates personal property for both insurance and estate purposes. Assignments range from high end single antique items to entire households.
Jodi lives in Denton with her husband Allen; is a proud “Mom” to Justin (&Erin), Garrett and Rachel (Will), and recently welcomed her first grandson, Jack.
